Standard breast X-ray machines are torture devices for any woman; they may be excruciating, or inaccessible, for women with various types of physical disabilities, resulting in documented problems with diagnosis and care. The Luna (just a concept for now) is a handheld device that can be positioned more flexibly by an individual or a helper, so that a specific seating position is not required and spasticity can be more easily accommodated. It stores information from all screenings as well.
