To beware little CableCARDs…

If you use Windows Media Center, you know it’s not always easy to set up for captioning and description, given the wide range of hardware and media networks it’s supposed to work on.  Now a helpful gizmo may help us halfway to the stars — it’s a diagnostic CableCARD that reports on your hardware and identifies trouble spots.  We’re not sure how accessible its own little interface is (still a prototype) or how clear the menu path is to captioning and description, but we can dream can’t we?
