Sync or swim

A Ford Motor Co. study has found that it takes drivers only two seconds to look away from the road and operate its voice-input Sync radio to start playing music, as opposed to twenty-five seconds for iPods. While we have reservations about the objectivity of the study, we still think this makes yet another excellent argument for multimodal input strategies that can benefit people with and without disabilities.
