Global IP Solutions has announced the release of VideoEngine, which will permit real-time videophone capability on mobile phones. Obvious lovely applications for sign language speakers and lipreaders; could also be useful for some people with cognitive disabilities who might not be able to read or recognize an incoming phone number but who never forget a face.
