It’s easy being green

Vera is a nifty little device that not only monitors energy usage, but can also be programmed to turn devices on and off at specific times. Supposedly it saves significantly more energy than it uses. At $299 (less if you hop onto the Beta bandwagon before 10/31), plus an $8 monthly monitoring charge, it should also save a lot of greenbacks when compared to other systems for people who need a hands-free environment.
