Thank you for your input

Wired just posted an article about the input devices of the future; lots of assumptions about use of brainwaves, which comes about as close to a universal interface as we may ever see. We doubt, though, that these will eliminate keyboards and mice at more than a snail’s velocity; see the adoption of “natural” voice recognition technologies as a model. Besides, the idea is to make more options available, rather than fewer. Can we have archaic and eat it, too?
