Compose yourself

Move over, voice recognition; the Compose Concept Pen (emphasis on “concept”) has a microphone that would pick up singing–or other forms of music making?–and then transcribe it into a digital tablet, so that your sonata inspired by the cute thing the cat did this morning won’t be lost to posterity. Sounds like a pretty accessible way to compose music; no word on whether you can then edit the results, but we’d bet instructions are in the manual under “decomposition.”
