Braille cellies?

Nokia has patented “Haptikos” touchscreen technology for cell phones, which has “a ‘plurality of closely spaced voltage controllable protuberances’ which can be either lowered or raised on a touchscreen surface.” Sounds like a perfect launch pad for Braille output to us; could be particularly helpful to deaf-blind folks.
