Searchin’ every whiiiiich-a-way

Sometimes features start as access tools, then go mainstream where they can benefit everyone. A good example of this is Google Suggest, which uses word prediction (suggestion of complete words based on letters or phonemes, long used as typing assistance for people with dexterity and cognitive disabilities). Because minimizing key presses is particularly desirable for mobile devices, Google studied use of Google Suggest on mobile devices, and apparently now it’s available on the iPhone.
