Jim Tobias co-Chairs Access Board Advisory Committee
Friday, August 18th, 2006I’ve been chosen to co-Chair the Access Board’s “Telecommunications and Electronic and Information Technology Advisory Committee” (”TEITAC”, pronounced “tie-tack”). TEITAC will be looking at the existing Section 255 and Section 508 accessibility regulations to see how they can be integrated and updated. These regulations affect products and services purchased by the federal government, and telecom products sold in the US, so they have a powerful impact on accessibility.
